Since its creation in 2015 by the Landeau brothers, 9MW (Nine Million Witches) blends life-saving pop melodies, high-octane stoner-rock riffs, heavy-blues textures and electro synths in the purest tradition of altrock, somewhere at the crossroads of The Black Keys, Triggerfinger, Queens of The Stone Age or Them Crooked Vultures. Right from the start, the band wrote original songs for their first EP, released the same year along with a successful live act.
Many gigs later and with a solid experience in hand, 9MW completes its line up with the arrival of a third member and goes back into studio to record its first album, “The Rapture”, released in fall 2016 by TFT Label and Dirty Motel Records.
